Snowy West Plant out under the Rail Trail Bridge

What can be achieved by 23 people and 2 dogs, armed with 150 native plants, a hole digger, cakes, and egg biscuits? Visit the Rail Trail at its intersection with the Rail Bridge to witness the results. Today (Sunday), Snowy West Landcare and Snowy Rail Bridge members successfully planted over 150 plants in under an hour, contributing to the ongoing restoration of the area.

This project was made possible through the efforts of Moogji Nursery, which grew the plants locally, and was supported by a Victorian Landcare grant administered by the East Gippsland Catchment Authority.

Far East Victoria Landcare is currently involved in over 25 planting and restoration projects across Far East Victoria.

For information on how to participate, please contact Josh Puglisi, Facilitator, at FEVL.org.au.
