Formed in 2006 FEVL is now a network comprising seven Landcare groups and two specialist groups located across far east Victoria.

Landcare Groups
The committee of the FEVL network is responsible for the strategic direction and performance of the organisation. Each member group is eligible to provide 2 representatives to the FEVL Committee of Management which is supported by a small team of staff based in Orbost.

Cabbage Tree Creek Landcare Group
Cabbage Tree Creek Landcare Group formed in October 2017 and immediately decided to restart food swap meets in the produce season.

Cann Valley Landcare Group
Cann Valley is a small community in Far East Gippsland and is located on the junction of the Princes Highway and Monaro Highway, and the gateway to the popular coastal wilderness of Croajingalong National Park.

Jarrahmond Landcare Group
Jarrahmond is an agricultural area of approximately 4,800 hectares consisting of deep fertile river flats with adjacent hill country. It is defined by the Snowy River, the Yalmy State Forest, Orbost township and the Bonang Rd.

Marlo Landcare Group
Marlo Landcare was formed in 1997 and covers approximately 12,000ha from east of the Snowy River to Cape Conran. current membership totals 32 family groups with 72 members.

Snowy West Landcare Group
We are located on the Newmerella side of the Snowy River in Orbost. This includes the rural areas of Bete Bolong and Lochend.

Wairewa and District Landcare Group
The Landcare group has filled a gap in the community’s social structure since the demise of the tennis club, the school and post office.

Goongerah Landcare Group
Goongerah is 70km by road north of Orbost on the Brodribb River. We are a small, relatively isolated settlement of residents in the foothill forests between the Errinundra and Snowy National Parks.
Specialist Groups

East Gippsland Bee Care Group
We began in Orbost with the support of Far East Victoria Landcare. our memberships come from across East Gippsland and Facebook followers from way beyond that.

Far East Sustainable Agriculture Group
The Far East Sustainable Agriculture Group was formed in 2006 when local beef producers recognised that by coming together they would be better able to attract guest T speakers to up-skill the local farming community.

Join FEVL
FEVL is a network now comprising of seven Landcare groups in far east Gippsland: Cann Valley, Cabbage Tree Creek, Goongerah , Jarrahmond , Marlo, Snowy West and Wairewa and District; as well as two special interest groups: East Gippsland Bee Care Group and the Far East Sustainable Agriculture Group.
The Landcare groups encompass an area ranging from Nowa Nowa to the NSW border and from Goongerah in the north to the coast.
